For the first time ever, GMAU Krav Maga instructor Michael South is offering "GMAU Krav Maga Live." This is an opportunity for GMAU Krav students to come together for a special training seminar, meet your instructor, make new friends, gain a deeper understanding of the style, have fun learning new techniques (never before shown in our online course), and make great memories.
This special seminar will be hosted in Oklahoma City, at the pristine, 6,500 square feet, Global Martial Arts Association Certified Training Center: National Martial Arts. Just 10 minutes from the international airport, plenty of hotels, restaurants, and fun nightlife.
GMAU Krav Maga Live will be an exciting mix of training, encompassing avarety of special topics. On Friday, October 12th, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Combative and Defense Fundamentals. A top-level review of the most important minute details that are often overlooked by krav students.
Evolved Weapon Defenses. Learn how we've evolved our knife, blunt, and gun defenses to simpler movements to improve their efficacy. Also, learn a few special weapon defenses never before seen.
Survive an Active Shooter Attack. Go over your three only options for survival, live training drills, and much more.
Control Unit and Winning Ground Fights. These techniques will allow you to control the end of a confrontation, whether it be standing up or on the ground.
Hang out with your instructors and peers after the event!
Michael South is a black belt Krav Maga instructor and has been a student of the martial arts for over ten years. He also holds black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. He began teaching martial arts professionally eight years ago and is the founder of National Martial Arts, an Oklahoma-based martial arts organization dedicated to making the world a better and safer place. He specializes in Krav Maga instruction and is also a professional BJJ competitor.
